Common use

Amiodarone is an antiarrhythmic medication used to treat and prevent serious, potentially life-threatening heart rhythm disorders such as ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation. It works by stabilizing the heart's electrical activity and helping maintain a regular heartbeat. Amiodarone is usually prescribed when other medications have failed or are not suitable. Dosage and direction
